Site updates

What's new on the site

Every change we make to onestopgroup.us, newest first, in plain language.

August 27, 2026

  • New — mortgage calculator. A free calculator that shows what a home would really cost each month — not just the loan payment, but property taxes, home insurance, and mortgage insurance too. A few things set it apart from the typical calculator:

    • Today's real rates, built in. Instead of a made-up starting rate, it opens with the national average from loans actually locked with lenders the previous business day. Already have a quoted rate? Type it in and the calculator uses yours.
    • Real program rules. Switch between Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA and the numbers follow each program's actual rules — minimum down payment, upfront fees, and mortgage insurance — each starting from its own average rate.
    • See the payoff. A chart and a year-by-year table show the loan being paid down, and exactly how much time and interest extra monthly payments save.
    • Share your numbers. Copy a link and anyone who opens it sees the same exact scenario.

Every number is clearly labeled an estimate for planning — real quotes still come from the team. → Mortgage calculator

  • New — a Tools menu on every page. The menu at the top of the site now has a Tools section, so the calculator is one click away from anywhere. More tools will join it. → Homepage

August 16, 2026

  • New — update emails for the team. Whenever the website changes, the team now receives an email describing exactly what changed, in plain language, the moment it goes live — like the one announcing this update.
  • New — a public update history page. Every change ever made to the site now lives on one easy-to-read page, newest first. It is linked from the bottom of every page on the site and from the button in each update email. → onestopgroup.us/updates
  • Changed — earlier update notes rewritten in plain language. The technical wording in past entries was rewritten so anyone on the team can read the full history without a translator. → Full update history
  • Under the hood: every update now goes through a safety checklist that refuses to publish until these notes are written, and the update page and email are checked automatically before anything goes out.

August 15, 2026

  • Changed — clearer credit-repair service expectations. The Straight Talk section now focuses on thorough report review, evidence-based disputes, and transparent expectations. It explains the value of the team-managed process without repeating self-service language in the marketing section; formal consumer rights remain available on the Required Disclosures page. → Credit Repair · Required Disclosures
  • Fixed — navigation labels stay on one line. The desktop header now has enough room for the logo, tagline, and navigation, and switches to the compact menu before the layout becomes crowded at narrower widths.
  • Under the hood: a private preview page let the team compare five wording options side by side before choosing this one, and more automatic checks now review the site’s menus and wording before every update goes out.

August 14, 2026

  • New — credit repair services. The new page explains report reviews, disputes of inaccurate or unverifiable items, and practical rebuilding guidance, with clear up-front limits: accurate current information cannot lawfully be removed, self-disputes are free, and no score or timeline is guaranteed. → onestopgroup.us/credit-repair
  • New — a dedicated credit-repair intake and booking path. Choosing Credit Repair in Get Started asks only the relevant location, income, credit, timeline, and contact questions. After a successful submission, visitors can book a credit consultation immediately from the confirmation screen. → onestopgroup.us/start?need=credit
  • Changed — credit-repair disclosures and privacy details are explicit. The disclosures page now covers the written contract, three-business-day cancellation right, free self-dispute right, limits on claims, fees, and state-by-state availability. The Privacy Policy and form consent also explain when a servicing partner receives the details needed to fulfill a request. → Required Disclosures · Privacy Policy
  • Under the hood: credit-repair inquiries are saved in HubSpot like every other inquiry and also handed to the servicing partner automatically, and automatic checks now confirm that hand-off — and the existing residential and commercial paths — before every update goes out.

August 7, 2026

  • New — Ashley Bernardino joins the team page. Listing Specialist with over 15 years in New Jersey real estate. Her card appears in the team grid on the homepage, with her full bio and headshot on the About page — the grid is now a clean two-by-two. → onestopgroup.us/about
  • Under the hood: testing now happens in a completely separate practice copy of the contact system, so trying things out can never touch real client records.

July 16, 2026

  • New — Cars, Coffee and Closings sign-in page. Guests pick Spectator or Showing a car; show cars add their year, make, and model, so the show roster builds itself in HubSpot as people sign in. Kiosk mode included. → onestopgroup.us/cars-coffee-closings
  • Changed — the QR maker recognizes the series. Typing Cars, Coffee and Closings (or a dated edition like … — August) produces a QR for the new page automatically, with a note confirming it. Every other event name works exactly as before. → onestopgroup.us/event-qr
  • Changed — old event links forward. A previously printed QR or shared link that points at the generic sign-in page with the series name now forwards guests to the new page automatically.
  • Under the hood: both sign-in pages now run on the same well-tested machinery, and the new sign-in list "Cars, Coffee and Closings Sign-In" is ready in HubSpot (Marketing → Forms).

July 13, 2026

  • New — event sign-in via QR code. Type any event's name into the QR maker, print the code, and guests scan it to sign in (name + phone/email, about 15 seconds). Each sign-in lands in HubSpot tagged with the event name, ready for follow-up. Kiosk mode — linked right from the QR maker — turns a tablet at the door into a self-resetting sign-in station. → QR maker: onestopgroup.us/event-qr · sign-in page: onestopgroup.us/event
  • New — Brian Almeida on the team pages (Buyer Agent Specialist), alongside John and Daniel, with the team cards realigned so photos and text line up at every screen size. → onestopgroup.us/about and the homepage team section
  • Fixed — Google can now find the site. A pre-launch leftover was still telling search engines to stay away; the site can now appear in search results.
  • Fixed — Get Started phone validation. A phone number with too few digits is flagged before submitting (previously the inquiry could fail silently). The consent text was also strengthened: it now covers automated calls/texts and links to the Privacy Policy. → onestopgroup.us/start
  • Under the hood: every form on the site now uses the same well-tested submission machinery, the new "Event Sign-In Form" list is set up in HubSpot, and a battery of automatic checks now runs before every update goes out.

July 7, 2026

  • New — founder bios. Full stories for John (20+ years in mortgage lending) and Daniel (a decade in real estate): what each handles and their credentials. → onestopgroup.us/about
  • Changed — homepage team cards now show each founder's credentials at a glance, with a "Read full bio" link to the About page (clicks are counted anonymously per founder, so we can see engagement). → homepage team section

July 5, 2026

  • Changed — the site is faster. Pages preload in the background the moment a visitor hovers a link, and page changes use a smooth fade instead of a white flash. All photos were converted to a modern format — identical look, a fraction of the download. No layouts, text, or forms changed.
  • New — anonymous measurement. Page visits, button taps (phone number and email), scroll depth, and where people stop in the Get Started form are counted — without cookies and without identifying anyone. Nothing anyone types is recorded; personal details are saved only when someone submits the form, same as before.
  • New — lead attribution. Each completed Get Started inquiry now shows in the CRM which ad, campaign, or search brought that person in.
  • Changed — the site’s lettering now loads straight from our own site instead of an outside service (faster, and visitors’ browsers no longer contact a third party just to draw the text). → Homepage
